Christa Hinton is a communications strategist and public sector leader with experience shaping clear, accessible messaging for mission-driven institutions. She serves as Communications Manager at Intermountain Health St. George Regional Hospital, where she oversees internal and external communications, strengthens community relationships, and supports outreach efforts that foster trust and connection across the region.

Christa is serving her second term on the Santa Clara City Council, where she focuses on regional collaboration and aligning local priorities with broader policy efforts. She also serves as 1st Vice President of the Utah League of Cities and Towns, helping guide statewide municipal priorities. Her broader civic involvement includes board service with the Utah Outdoor Adventure Commission, Virgin River Land Trust, Governing Group, Utah Women Run, and Southern Utah Tribune Advisory Board, reflecting her commitment to thoughtful land stewardship, effective government policy, and informed public dialogue.

She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Communications from Southern Utah University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Utah Tech University. Christa is known for her collaborative approach, strategic insight, and commitment to clear, effective communication. Outside of work, Christa loves spending time with her husband and four children, reading books, golfing, and drinking Diet Coke.
