Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’ve been out of the workforce for many years, not just a few?

Sego Next is designed for returners, no matter how long you’ve been away. Wherever you’re starting from, this program meets you there.

Is this program only for women returning after having children?

No, it’s for anyone who has a “resume gap” or feels underemployed.

What’s the time commitment outside of the weekly sessions?

About 1 hour of homework every week. After each class, you’ll leave with a worksheet to complete before the next class.

Can my employer help cover the cost if I’m currently working but looking to move up?

Yes, of course. Let us know if you need assistance.

I’m not sure what I even want to do next. Is this program still for me?

You don’t need a plan yet. The skills you’ll learn here apply no matter where your story goes next.

I haven’t worked in my field in years. Will I be behind everyone else in the room?

Not at all. Your stories may differ, but you’ll all be in the room for the same reason: get back to writing your career story.

What if I don’t have a clear ‘story’ to tell yet?

You don’t need to know what you want to do yet. Sego Next will give you practical skills to get started and confidently figure it out along the way.

What if I can’t attend an in-person class?

We currently don’t offer a virtual option. Aside from the information, the real value is in your cohort and meeting women who understand where you’ve been and what you’re trying to do. We understand life happens. You’ll have access to all of the slides and notes shared by the instructors.

Do you offer a payment plan or scholarships?

We may be able to help. Let us know if you need financial assistance.
