Catherine Bennett is the executive editor of Utah Business, Utah’s business storytelling platform, where her experiences as a business journalist, marketing leader, entrepreneur and content strategist combine to elevate and celebrate Utah’s economy and the people building it. Prior to working at Utah Business, she was chief marketing officer for a manufacturing consulting company, the founder and president of marketing agency Backpack Marketing and global communications manager for Synergy WorldWide. She has worked with Utah companies in almost every industry as a business owner and leader. She has a master’s degree in professional communication from Westminster College and a dual major from Utah State University from Utah State University. Outside of work, she contributes to non-profit committees and enjoys time with her husband and three young children.
