Shelly Ruff
SR. CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER, ADOBE
Shelly Ruff is a former educator, mom of four, and education leader at Adobe, where she partners with colleges and universities across North America to help students build creative and career-ready skills. Before moving into tech, Shelly spent nearly a decade teaching in the classroom, an experience that still shapes how she approaches leadership, learning, and problem-solving today.
At Adobe, Shelly works with higher education institutions to expand access to creative tools and programs that help students turn their ideas into real-world opportunities. She is especially passionate about bridging the gap between education and the workforce, helping students develop the practical skills, confidence, and initiative needed to navigate their first careers.
Outside of Adobe, Shelly is building workforce readiness programs designed to help young people develop the life and professional skills that aren’t always taught in school but matter a lot once you leave it.
Shelly lives in Utah with her four kids and often jokes that she has been tired for about 19 years, coincidentally the exact age of her oldest child. At heart, she still considers herself a teacher, just with a slightly larger classroom.
