Becki Wright is campaign strategist, civic-tech entrepreneur, and community powerhouse in Utah and beyond. As Founder & CEO of Proximity, she transformed her experience as a campaign manager, finance director, and political consultant—supporting races from local school board contests to U.S. Senate campaigns—into a platform that’s now redefining political engagement across the country.

Under her leadership, Proximity has become a Campaigns & Elections Reed Awards finalist and winner of the Utah Business Innovation Award, serving campaigns, elected leaders, advocacy groups, and organizations across the nation. The platform has managed millions of voter records, processed tens of thousands in donations, and saved candidates hundreds of thousands of dollars—all while facilitating authentic connections between leaders and their communities.

Deeply rooted in Utah’s civic landscape, Becki regularly contributes her insights on PBS Utah’s The Hinckley Report and was recently honored as one of Utah Business Magazine’s 30 Women to Watch. She has been featured on Entrepreneur Weekly and the Silicon Slopes Podcast and was named a Founder 100 by the Venture Capital Podcast.

Becki holds a BA from Brigham Young University, along with a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Business Creation from the University of Utah, where she was a David C. Williams Memorial Graduate Fellow. Beyond her work with Proximity, Becki champions advocacy, leadership, and innovation as a board member to Utah Women Run, Bolder Way Forward, Women Tech Council, and the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors.

Whether briefing a congressional candidate on turnout strategies or driving civic innovation, Becki is unapologetically ambitious about disrupting politics as usual. She believes leadership should be accessible, accountable, and deeply connected to the people it serves—making “proximity” more than a name, but also a guiding principle.
