Noella Sudbury is a licensed Utah and Arizona lawyer, and the founder and CEO of Rasa Legal, a mission-driven legal tech organization that provides free and low-cost legal sealing and expungement services to people with criminal records. Noella started her career as a public defender and is passionate about access to justice. In 2019, she led Utah’s successful campaign to pass Utah’s Clean Slate law, resulting in automated record clearance relief for more than 500,000 Utahns. Noella has been honored with a number of awards, including being named Woman of the Year by Utah Business Magazine, and highlighted by Inc. Magazine as one of the Top 200 most dynamic female founders in America. Her work has been featured locally and nationally, and she’s a great example of how AI, tech, and innovation can be used to make scalable change.

In October 2024, Noella gave a TedX talk about her journey to this work and why she is so passionate about using tech to bridge the access to justice gap. In 2025, she was invited by the Obama Foundation to participate in their 2025-2026 USA leaders program.
