Nicole Carpenter is the Director of Programs and Operations at Sego Leadership, a 501(c)3 that believes Utah thrives when women lead. A 2026 Utah Business Magazine Women To Watch honoree and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, she has facilitated leadership training for more than 1,400 women through Sego's signature programs.
Before Sego, Nicole advocated for women as an author, speaker, and founder of MOMentity.com, an online community for overwhelmed moms. She was a syndicated columnist for five years and authored 52 Weeks to Fortify Your Family: 5-Minute Messages (Cedar Fort, 2015). She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and public relations from Weber State University.
Nicole has spoken at the National League of Cities, Utah Nonprofit Association, Women in Business Conference, and Women's Transportation Seminar, as well as for private organizations including the Utah Chamber, DPS Skis, iFit, Horrocks, and Alta Bank. She brings warmth, authenticity, and practical frameworks to keynotes and breakout sessions that leave audiences thinking differently about their own strengths and leadership.
She and her husband are raising two adult kids and two teenagers—and they think this stage might actually be harder than the toddler years. She loves yoga, watercolor, and reading. But don't ask her what's in her Kindle unless you want to talk about dragon riders.
